HOW THE DEMO WORKS

From measurements to evidence

01

Select a scenario

Start with a normal, diagnostic-condition, or near-boundary operating example.

02

Inspect the measurements

Review the operating point and, within the controlled public boundary, adjust the demonstrated measurements.

03

Run the evaluation

EF-PUMP validates the point, evaluates the diagnostic path, and returns a controlled professional result.

LIVE CONTROLLED DEMO

Explore an operating point

The public interface accepts only the authorized scenario fields shown below.

Loading scenario information...

Fluid density used in this demonstration: 1000 kg/m³.

These controlled scenarios use a fixed, water-reference fluid density. The demonstrated pressure-head calculation uses the measured pressure difference divided by fluid density and gravitational acceleration.

The commercial EF-PUMP Professional V1 application allows the engineer to enter an appropriate positive fluid density for supported homogeneous single-phase liquid pumping systems. This public demonstration intentionally keeps density fixed and does not provide unrestricted analysis.

V1 does not automatically correct for viscosity, multiphase flow, slurry behavior, or differences in elevation and velocity head.

Operating measurements

These fields belong to the controlled demonstration boundary. They are not an unrestricted analysis input.

WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATES

Evidence first. Engineering judgment remains professional.

Validation before diagnosis

EF-PUMP first checks whether the operating point is suitable for evaluation. Invalid evidence is not silently treated as valid diagnostic input.

Deterministic diagnostic logic

The same authorized input produces the same analytical outcome. The demonstration does not generate arbitrary conclusions.

Professional responsibility preserved

A diagnostic qualification is analytical evidence. It is not automatic physical fault confirmation, root-cause proof, or a maintenance prescription.

COMPLETE ENGINEERING EVIDENCE

Examine the professional reports

Three constructed multi-record engineering examples, analyzed through the EF-PUMP Professional pipeline. Inspect every measurement, review the reference and diagnostic configuration, and read the full reports.

These are constructed demonstration datasets, not measurements collected from operating industrial installations. Diagnostic evidence does not independently establish physical root cause or prove equipment recovery.

EXPERT DIAGNOSTIC INTERPRETATION
Rule: DIA-001
Condition: Pump head is reduced relative to the applicable reference condition.

Engineering meaning:
The measured operating condition indicates that the pump is developing less head than the applicable reference condition. When the diagnostic condition persists across the configured observation sequence, the reduction should be treated as an operating-performance deviation rather than an isolated reading.

Possible causes:
1. Pump rotational speed is lower than the reference or intended operating speed.
2. The pump operating point has shifted relative to the reference condition because system resistance or flow demand has changed.
3. Suction conditions may be degrading hydraulic performance, including insufficient suction pressure, excessive suction losses, gas entrainment, or cavitation-related conditions.
4. Internal pump wear or increased internal recirculation may be reducing developed head.
5. Impeller condition or effective impeller diameter may differ from the reference condition because of wear, damage, fouling, modification, or incorrect configuration.
6. A restriction, valve position, bypass condition, leakage path, or other system configuration difference may be affecting the observed operating point.
7. Instrumentation or reference-data error may be contributing to the apparent deviation.

Recommended checks:
1. Confirm that the reference data represents the same pump, configuration, impeller condition, and intended operating basis.
2. Compare measured rotational speed with the reference speed and verify speed measurement accuracy.
3. Review flow rate together with suction and discharge pressures to determine whether the operating point has shifted.
4. Inspect suction conditions for abnormal pressure loss, blocked strainers or piping, inadequate liquid level, air ingress, gas entrainment, or evidence consistent with cavitation.
5. Verify relevant valve positions, bypass paths, control settings, and system configuration.
6. Check pressure, flow, and speed instrumentation for calibration, installation, scaling, and data-entry errors.
7. If the external operating conditions and instrumentation are verified, inspect the pump for hydraulic wear, internal recirculation, impeller damage, fouling, or configuration differences.
8. Compare the condition with previous measurements or trend data to determine whether the deviation is stable, progressive, intermittent, or associated with a recent system change.

Operational significance:
Persistent head reduction can indicate degraded pump performance or a changed system operating condition. The significance depends on the magnitude and persistence of the deviation, process requirements, available operating margin, and the cause established by follow-up checks.

Diagnostic limitation:
DIA-001 identifies a head-reduction condition; it does not by itself establish a unique root cause. The possible causes above are engineering hypotheses to be discriminated using operating context, additional measurements, inspection, maintenance history, and instrument verification.

EXPERT DIAGNOSTIC INTERPRETATION
Rule: DIA-001
Condition: Pump head is reduced relative to the applicable reference condition.

Engineering meaning:
A persistent episode was previously established and has since cleared.

A persistent episode was previously established and has since cleared.
